Nintendo Switch

Nintendo unveiled a new console this week, which is an event that warrants some notice as next generation consoles are only released every 6-7 years.

In the teaser video, you may notice something somewhat… mobile about the new machine. Players are able to unhook it from their living room TV and bring it with them on-the-go, all while playing the same game.

We’ll be keeping an eye on this one as games are released; it certainly looks like Nintendo’s promise to focus more on mobile has even affected their console business.

Until next time,
Peter

Shop Heroes

cloudcade

Why Play? Users play a very unique role in this game: a shopkeeper in a fantasy universe. Innkeepers are not usually reserved for protagonists, but players of Shop Heroes channel their inner NPC and build out their dream shop by crafting, collecting, and selling fascinating enchanted goods.

Best Fiends Forever

seriously

Why Play? Best Fiends definitely tried hard to develop original IP with fun and interesting characters, and this new idle clicker takes the same familiar crew. It tries to make idle clickers a bit more interactive, has ridiculously good pacing, and a unique VIP monthly subscription that costs a whopping $14.99/month.

Mini Metro

Dinosaur Polo Club

Why Play? This one’s a puzzle game about underground subway planning, which sounds horribly boring but is surprisingly one of the best puzzle games we’ve played in a long time. Great visual design, low complexity, super fun and challenging gameplay.

Emily’s Christmas Carol

GameHouse

Why Play?  I know it seems a bit early for the holidays, but the Emily series has always been one of the time management games that set the quality bar. Great visuals, solid gameplay, and features fun and lovable characters.
